SITU8ED was founded in 2016 by a small group of experts from academia and industry, with the aim of offering solutions for location-based analytics and advertising, and critically where users’ privacy is assured and compliance to GDPR is a given.
Our pedigree is in situation modelling – hence the company name. Situations encapsulate places that people visit and their travel betweeen those places, determining their significance for the user and assigning them rich semantics – types of place, brand names, dwell times, types of travel, etc.
Recognising situations requires some of the latest techniques in signal processing, machine learning. Doing it without compromising privacy relies on the latest in embedded systems design.
Team members have been at the forefront of R&D in robotics, smart-homes and image recognition. SITU8ED has applied this knowledge to mobile telephony.
We draw on many years commercial experience in Google, Criteo, Experian, BPCE, Hewlett-Packard and other companies, in which team members have held C-level and other senior roles in R&D, Marketing, Sales and Operations, for mobile advertising and in related domains.
SITU8ED is based in Montbonnot St. Martin, nestling in the French Alps. We’ve also sales offices in Paris and London.
